Thank you for supporting full restoration of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante!

Dear [Decision Maker],

Thank you for sending a letter to Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland in support of the Antiquities Act and the full restoration of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments.

As you know, these national treasures were illegally dismantled by the Trump administration, imperiling natural ecosystems, scientific resources, and priceless cultural sites revered by Native American Tribes. Sec. Haaland's recent visit to these landscapes is an encouraging first step toward righting this wrong, and I appreciate you speaking out in support of restored protection for these remarkable public lands.

Another way you can help is by becoming an original cosponsor of America's Red Rock Wilderness Act, which will soon be reintroduced by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-CA), respectively. This legislation would protect 9.4 million acres of deserving wilderness lands in Utah -- some of them overlapping with Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante -- and would make great strides toward the vision of protecting 30 percent of America's lands and waters by 2030. As a supporter of public lands and monuments, I hope you will see the natural link between these priorities and become a cosponsor today!

Again, I thank you for caring about these irreplaceable landscapes and speaking out for their protection.

Sincerely,
